Event Description:
Philly Roller Derby has developed a Junior Roller Derby program for young skaters, ages 6-18 that are interested in learning to skate and play roller derby!
Practices are currently held weekly on Sunday mornings from 9am-11am at our warehouse in the Germantown Section of Philadelphia.
Requirements: Each participant is required to have their own roller skates, knee pads, elbow pads, wrist guards, helmet, and mouth guard. (Skates should be purchased at specialty skate shops. Sporting goods stores do not carry derby quality skates.) No previous skating experience is necessary.
First Practice: Sunday, January 15, 2017
Last Practice: Sunday, June 28, 2017
No Practice Easter and Memorial Day Weekends
Cost: $350 + TicketLeap service fee per purchase.
